1. Bukit Bintang

You can stroll down Kuala Lumpur’s catwalk in the glare of neon, amidst all the designer boutiques and mega malls. This place is touted as KL’s answer to Paris’ Champs Elysees and Tokyo’s Ginza rolled into one. This place is dense with restaurants and bars and is particularly a good hunting ground for entertainment after dark.

 

2. Central Market

Away from the glitz of Bukit Bintang, Central Market offers the opportunity for you to indulge in some low-key shopping. You will find some interesting shops, with craft goods from Borneo and Indonesia and during the weekends, you can expect some form of musical entertainment just outside this market.

 

3. Chinatown – Jalan Petaling

Shop for bargains in the busy Chinatown street market, though look out for the vast array of counterfeit goods. This is the place to engage in some light-hearted banter with the vendors and maybe make the occasional purchase of something you don’t really need. The night market is open from 6pm to 11pm daily.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR MOM HAPPY~

1. Go shopping with your mom. I know, this might feel awkward, but it will prove to her that you really want to spend time with her. Possible bonus: she'll end up being so grateful, she'll start buying you stuff.

• Lemon green color cardstock 12" x 6"
• Off white textured paper with adhesive
• Purple color cardstock 1.25"x 6"
• 2 Garden bug 3 D stickers
• Birthday greetings rubber stamp by Penny Black
• Watercolors
• Black pigment ink pad
• Heat gun
• Glue
• Scissors
• Dcorative scrissors

Card Making Instructions

• Score and fold lemon green color cardstock to make a blank square folded card
• Ink flower rubber stamp with black pigment ink and stamp on off white paper.
• Stamp flower image two times.
• Stamp small flower image once.
• Stamp flower stems three times.
• Emboss all images with clear embossing powder immediately after stamping.
• Watercolor the stamped images.
• Trim all the stamped images as close as possible to the edges.
• Peel off the adhesive backing and adhere to front of folded card.
• Refer to the card for placement position.
• Trim purple card with decorative scissors on both edges.
• Cut into two strips; one wider than the other.
• Ink Birthday greetings rubber stamp with black pigment ink.
• Stamp on the right of wider purple strip.
• Pour clear embossing powder over the stamped message and heat.
• Add 3 D garden bug stickers
